There are other organizations that distribute medical supplies, equipment and personnel to the developing world; so what makes Orthopaedic Link different?
One of the most significant differences is that we're not trying to reinvent the wheel. Our goal is to mobilize existing networks and make the most of them rather than create our own system, which can lead to duplication of efforts and (by extension) inefficiency and waste. By working together and combining resources on a global level, we can increase the impact of everyone's efforts so that the whole will be greater than the sum of its parts.
